A post is centered around a single piece of content that expresses something that has been most meaningful and impactful to you. What you’re expressing could be an idea, belief, story, cause, or anything that deserves to be more widely known. The content you choose to express this can be anything: a book or article, show, podcast, newsletter, Youtube video – anything another person can experience. After selecting a piece of content, you’ll explain why it’s meaningful to you in a couple paragraphs. Take care creating your post, as you can only post at most once every month. With your feedback, if this limit turns out to be too high or low, we’ll change it! read more...
This will work similar to Instagram, your feed gives you one post at a time. Unlike Instagram, the algorithm is random. Yes, random. Also, there is no search feature, meaning you can’t find specific people or posts. Other sites tailor content to your interests. Wonder seeks to spread your awareness to the farthest and richest ideas. With each person choosing one of the most impactful pieces of content they’ve experienced, we think you’ll find something worthwhile - something you would have never found otherwise. read more...
As you browse posts on the feed page, you’ll come across content you’ll want to check out – just not right now. Your library is the place to store and organize your saved posts. In addition to the library, you’ll also see new icons on each post. These comprise the rating system unique to Wonder: hearts are likes, per usual, green flags are powerful indicators of a quality post, signifying the reviewer thought the post was meaningful and impactful to them; red flags are used to communicate between users that a post was potentially not made in good faith, even if it isn’t removed. read more...
A little more detail about how this works: each friend connection must be mutually accepted; but either person can send an invite. To keep feeds from being constrained to the same people, thus impairing exploration, we’ve set a limit of 10 friends per user. If this limit turns out to be too low or high, we’ll change it. We value your feedback! read more...
There comes a time when you need to explore, to reach beyond the narrow confines of your delicately cultivated feed, to push at the barrier of what you don’t know you don’t know. You may go down a rabbit hole, or find nothing, or maybe, by chance, you may stumble upon something wonderful – something that leaves an impression, something that held meaning for you.
